dc.description.abstract | The study aims to 1) analyze the socio-economic performance of beef cattle breeders,
and 2) formulate an exit strategy for institutional strengthening of beef cattle breeders.
Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and indepth study.
While the data analysis is descriptive and verification analysis using partial least square.
The location of the study is the Subang district, selected with consideration of
representing SPR Beef Cattle in West Java Province, while the sampling technique is
Purposive Sampling. The unit of research analysis was individual beef cattle breeders at
the Cinagarabogo SPR. Determination of respondents in this study using the census
method. The sample of this research is Poktan Sarimulya Mandiri and Poktan Bina
Insani. The study was conducted for 8 months, starting from May to December 2019. The
results showed the performance of beef cattle breeders as follows: 1) The level of socioeconomic performance of the average breeder in the sufficient category. Characteristics
of respondents include age, education, knowledge, number of livestock ownership,
experiences, income, trust, needs, satisfaction, self-adjustment, cosmopolitanism,
participation, entrepreneurship, gender equality and welfare. 2) The Exit Strategy
Program, including the designation of facilitators, training of facilitators and an action
